The National Spiritual Assembly of Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela was a regional administrative body responsible for the Bahá’í communities of Brazil, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela in South America.
History[edit]
The National Spiritual Assembly of South America was formed in 1951 at the National Convention in Lima, Peru.[1] The National Spiritual Assembly of Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela was formed in 1957 when the area administrated by the National Spiritual Assembly of South America was divided into two National Assembly jurisdictions.[2] The National Spiritual Assembly of Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela was dissolved in 1961 when the National Assemblies of each of the countries established their own National Assemblies.[3]
