George Allen is a Bahá’í who has served as a Continental Counsellor for Africa.
Biography[edit]
Allen pioneered to Gabon with his wife as of the early 1980's.[1] In 1984 he represented the Bahá’í International Community at a meeting for the Governing Council of the United Nations Environment Programme,[2] and he was serving as an Auxiliary Board member by 1986.[3]
Allen was appointed to the Continental Board of Counsellors for Africa in 1988 to fill a vacancy left by appointments to the International Teaching Center and was appointed for full five year terms in 1990, 1995, and 2000.[4]
