- 1931: Swiss Bahá’í Auguste Forel, world-renowned psychiatrist, entomologist, anatomist, social reformer and peace worker, dies.
- 1953: Siegfried Schopflocher, Hand of the Cause of God (pictured), dies in Montreal.
- 1992: The National Spiritual Assembly of Tonga broadcasts the first of its weekly 30-minute television programmes.
