S. Valerie Dana is a former member of the United States National Spiritual Assembly. In her career she is an attorney and business owner.
As of the 1990's Valerie was living in Oklahoma City running a private law practice, but after the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 she reduced her private practice in order to head Interfaith Disaster Recovery, a group dedicated to organizing financial and emotional support for victims of the bombing. She later ran victim assistance efforts as far abroad as Cameroon.
In 1999 she moved to Colorado where she opened a Hair Salon business with her husband. She moved to Chicago after being elected Secretary-General of the National Spiritual Assembly of the United States in 2010. She served on the Assembly until 2019.
