Talk:Khadíjih Bagum

Mirza Yahya and Ḥájí Siyyid Muḥammad.

[edit]

I am copying the text of my question from Wikipedia, which is likewise applicable here, as I have not heard from anyone in the past year.

In Light of the World, ʻAbdu'l-Bahá states:

"And yet, not content with these (wives), he (Azal) also wed the honoured wife of the Báb, the sister of Mullá Rajab-‘Alí, known as the Mother of the Faithful, marriage to whom, according to the explicit statement of the Báb, was forbidden. A few days later, he passed her on to Ḥájí Siyyid Muḥammad."

I have found little other reference to this, or the details regarding it, but it seems like an extremely important biographical omission. 98.208.88.150 04:53, 12 July 2026 (EDT)

This passage refers to the second wife of the Bab, not Khadijih. Jagar (talk) 19:41, 12 July 2026 (EDT)
