The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Taiwan is the body responsible for administrating the Bahá’í community of Taiwan.

History[edit]

The Assembly was formed in 1967,[1] before then the Taiwan Bahá’ís had been guided by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of North East Asia. The Universal House of Justice had placed great importance on the formation of this assembly as it would be the first in Chinese territory. Hand of the Cause member Dr. Muhajir was assigned to represent the House at the National Convention in 1967, but he was unable to attend and Auxiliary Board Member Khudárahm Paymán from Indonesia attended in his place.
