David Huang is a Taiwanese Bahá’í who served on the National Spiritual Assembly of Taiwan and as a Continental Counselor for Asia.

Background[edit]

Huang was an inaugural member of the Committee for the Study of the Standardization of the Representation of Bahá’í Terminology in Chinese Characters established in 1981 and attended the bodies first meeting in Taiwan in August that year.[1]

By 1985 Huang had been elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of Taiwan, serving as the bodies secretary, and that year he accompanied Hand of the Cause Collis Featherstone to an audience with the Vice-President of Taiwan.[2]

He was appointed to the Continental Board of Counsellors for Asia by the Universal House of Justice in 1990 and reappointed for multiple terms completing his service on the body in 2010.
