The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Guatemala is the national administrative body for the Bahá’í community of Guatemala.
History[edit]
The National Spiritual Assembly of Guatemala was formed in 1961 being elected by the four Local Spiritual Assemblies existing in the country at that time.[1]
Upon forming the Assembly was made responsible for administrating the Bahá’í community of British Honduras although there were no Bahá’ís in British Honduras at the time.[2] British Honduras remained under its jurisdiction until forming its own National Spiritual Assembly in 1967.[3]
