Mustafá Effendi Sálim

Mustafá Effendi Sálim (October 17, 1899 - November 23, 1962) was an Egyptian Bahá’í who served on the National Spiritual Assembly of Egypt and Sudan and pioneered to Libya.
Biography[edit]
Sálim was born in Cairo in 1899.[1] He became a Bahá’í in his youth and was elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of Egypt and Sudan serving as of 1948.[2]
He pioneered to Libya in 1953 first settling in Benghazi where he was elected to the first Local Spiritual Assembly of Benghazi,[1] and in July he pioneered to Tripoli to assist efforts to establish a Local Spiritual Assembly which were successful in 1954.[3] He served on the Tripoli Assembly up until his passing in 1962.[1]
