Dr. Muin Afnani is a Bahá'í currently serving on the National Spiritual Assembly of the United States. He was host of the Bahá'í Persian TV program Aeine-Bahá'í.
Background[edit]
Dr. Afnani has masters degrees in Electronics Engineering from Utah State University and the University of Colorado. He also holds Masters of Science degrees in Sociology, from Utah State University, and in Systems Management and Islamic Studies from the University of Southern California. His PhD is in Near Eastern Studies from the University of California, and he has written several research papers related to religious studies.
In his career he works as manger of technology development in a semiconductor firm, having worked in the field of semiconductor development since 1984. In his personal life he lives with his wife Soheila and their children in northern California.
