Muhsin Asasi
Siyyid Muhsin Asasi, also known as Aqay-i-Asasi, was a Persian Bahá’í who served on the National Spiritual Assembly of Iran.
In 1933 Asasi visited Takur and he had a dam constructed at a river near the House of Bahá’u’lláh in the village to protect the property from flooding. Shoghi Effendi offered to fund half the costs of the construction but Asasi insisted on paying the full sum himself.[1] In 1934 he visited Takur again and oversaw the restoration of the House of Bahá’u’lláh in Takur to the same state state it was in the time Bahá’u’lláh was residing there.[2]
As of 1941 Asasi had been elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of Iran,[3] and he was still serving by 1944.[4] In 1955 he was elected to the Boad of Directors of the Bahá’í financial institution the Nawnahálán Company.[5]
