Masrúr Dakhílí

Masrúr Dakhílí (1923 - July 29, 1981) was a Persian Bahá’í who served as an Auxiliary Board member. He was martyred following the 1979 Revolution in Iran.

Dakhílí was born in Maraghih in 1923. He moved to Tabriz after completing his schooling where he studied electrical engineering and worked as the director of Radio Tabriz. He then completed medical school at Tabriz University and began working for the Red Cross.[1]
In 1957 Dakhílí pioneered to Mahabad where he was appointed the director of Respiratory Diseases at the cities largest hospital. After some time he moved to Tabriz and then to Tehran. He also spent time living in Miyandub and served on the Local Spiritual Assembly of Miyandub and also the Local Spiritual Assembly of Tabriz. He was later appointed as an Auxiliary Board member serving in the role up until his passing.[1]
On July 6, 1981, Dakhílí was arrested while traveling to visit his daughter in Bandar-e-Anzale. He was imprisoned in Tabriz being kept in solitary confinement for eighteen days before being transferred to Tabriz Prison. He was executed alongisde eight fellow Bahá’ís on July 29, 1981.[1]
