Lawḥ-i-Rúh

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

The Lawḥ-i-Rúh, provisionally translated as Tablet of the Spirit, is an Arabic Tablet of Bahá’u’lláh revealed in Adrianople.

The Tablet was revealed in approximately 1866 while Bahá’u’lláh was residing in the House of Riḍá Big and was addressed to a Bahá’í named 'Alí. It proclaims His station and mission and also denounces the actions of Mírzá Yaḥyá and his followers.[1] The Tablet also counsels the Bahá’ís to be united and warns that division in the community will harm the Bahá’í Faith.[2]
