Kámrán Lutfí

Kámrán Lutfí (January 27, 1952 - April 4, 1984) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Lutfí was born into a Bahá’í family in Isfahan in 1952. He moved to Tabriz to pursue graduate studies and completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Tabriz University. He then completed his compulsory military service from 1976 to 1978 and after leaving the military he married.[1]
Lutfí was an active member of the Bahá’í community and served on the Youth Committee of Tabriz, and later the Youth Committee of Tehran, and at some point was appointed an assistant to the Auxiliary Board.[1]
On May 6, 1983, Lutfí was arrested. He was held in Gohardasht and Evin prisons until being executed by firing squad alongside two fellow Bahá’ís on April 4, 1984. His body was not returned to his family for burial.[1]
