Biography[edit]
Rahmání was born into a Bahá’í family in Ferdows, Iran, in 1925. He moved to Tehran after graduating from high school and completed a university degree in Natural Sciences. He then returned to Ferdows where he was elected to the Local Spiritual Assembly.[1]
Due to persecution in Ferdows Rahmání moved to Mashhad at some point. He later moved to Tehran where he was elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of Iran in 1978. In August 1980 he attended a National Spiritual Assembly meeting which was raided by Revolutionary Guards and he was abducted along with the majority of the Assembly and two Auxiliary Board members and he was never seen again.[1]
