Erama Ugaia is a Papua New Guinean Bahá’í who has served as a Continental Counselor and National Spiritual Assembly member.
Background[edit]
In his professional career Ugaia works for the Education Department of Papua New Guinea having served as assistant secretary of the bodies human resource division.[1][2]
In 1995 Ugaia was appointed to the Continental Board of Counselors for Australasia and was the first Papua New Guinean appointed to the body.[3] As of 2016 he was serving as chairman of the National Spiritual Assembly of Papua New Guinea and launched the communities official website.[4]
