Distinctive Aspects of Bahá’í Education
Distinctive Aspects of Bahá'í Education is a compilation of the proceedings of the third Symposium on Bahá'í Education. It is edited by Hooshang Nikjoo and Stephen Vickers. The symposium took place in Birmingham, England, in April, 1991, and the book was published in 1993 by the Bahá'í Publishing Trust of the United Kingdom. There are twenty presentations reproduced in the book, and a foreword by Dwight Allen. The topics are very varied, covering such themes as racism, the arts, hothousing and gender education as well as chapters specific to the United Kingdom: the 1989 Education Act and the situation in Northern Ireland.
