A cycle of growth is the period of activity which covers all the stages of a "Programme of Growth". Beginning with the Expansion Phase, the cycle moves through the Consolidation Phase and into the period of planning and reflection, part of which is the (Cluster) Reflection Meeting. In theory, each cycle should have clear goals and measurable targets, and might last about three months. The Area Teaching Committee is the body which co-ordinates the dates of a cycle of growth.
