The Continental Board of Counsellors for Southeast Asia was a body responsible for protection and propagation of the Bahá'í Faith in Southeast Asia, and for appointing members to Auxiliary Boards across Southeast Asia. Its membership was appointed by the Universal House of Justice.
History[edit]
The Continental Board of Southeast Asia was formed along with ten other Boards in 1968. They were established by the Universal House of Justice so that the functions that the Hands of the Cause performed could continue to be carried out despite the Bahá'í community being unable to appoint additional Hands. In 1980 it was merged with other Boards to form one Continental Board for Asia in 1980.
