Burnley is a former mill town and now District/Borough in Lancashire, England. It had an extremely active Bahá'í community in the 1960s, and Bahá'ís from this area, or their descendants, are spread widely. There are third generation Bahá'ís from this area. At one time, there was a Bahá'í centre in a terraced house on one of the main radial roads from the town centre.
