Beatrice O. Asare is a Bahá’í who has served as a Continental Counsellor for Africa.
Background[edit]
Asare was appointed to the Continental Board of Counsellors for Africa by the Universal House of Justice in 1985.[1] In September 1988 she notably presented of copy of the Peace Statement of the Universal House of Justice to the Astantahene (a term for ruler) of the Asante state of Ghana.[2]
She was appointed for additional terms as Counsellor in 1990, 1995, and 2000.[3][4][5]
