Bahá’í Bookstores
Any organisation which exists to provide the Bahá'í community (and enquirers) with books can be considered to be a Bahá'í bookshop or bookstore. Some of these "Bahá'í Bookstores" are in fact distance sales operations - customers contact them online, by telephone or by letter. They range from the large "Distribution Services" of America, Canada, etc., to small, local operations. However, a larger number will be a locked room, or even cupboard, within a Bahá'í centre.
There are also temporary bookstores ("bookstalls"), for example at a convention, conference or summer school. If a Bahá'í sales operation is in existence in the region or territory, and if it has the capacity, it can transport a certain quantity of literature to the site of a gathering, as a service to the Friends.
