America and the Most Great Peace

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

America and the Most Great Peace is a letter written by Shoghi Effendi to the Bahá’ís of the United States and Canada dated April 21, 1933. It was published in the compilation The World Order of Bahá’u’lláh.

Alí Nakhjavání notes the letter was written to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the Bahá’í Faith in the United States and describes it as outlining the achievements of the American Bahá’í community,[1] and encouraging the American Bahá’ís to seek establishing the Faith outside of the Americas.[2] Rúḥíyyih Khánum notes that the letter comments on the significance of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and the development of Bahá’í Administration.[3]
