Ahmad Parsa is a Persian Bahá’í who served on the Continental Board of Counselors for Africa.
Background[edit]
In his professional life Parsa is an engineer. In his personal life Parsa married Hayede and they had three children, Anis, Lua, and Nazim. The family pioneered to Kigali, Rwanda, and then Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1]
In Africa Parsa assumed responsibility for running the company Societé du Developpement Rural au Zaire also known as Soderza, a Bahá’í inspired agency and his wife began running and expanding a Bahá’í inspired primary school.[1]
In 2000 Parsa was appointed a Continental Counselor for Africa by the Universal House of Justice,[2] and he was appointed for successive five year terms up to 2015 completing his service as Counselor in 2020.[3][4]
