- April: The Soviet authorities abrogate the constitution of the Local Spiritual Assembly of ‘Ishqábád and the body is dissolved.[1][2][3]
- August 27: The word Bahá’í is registered as a trademark with the United States Patent Office.[4]
- September 11: The National Spiritual Assembly of Iraq submits a petition for ownership of the House of Bahá’u’lláh in Baghdad to the League of Nations.[5]
- October 26 - November 13: The case of the House of Bahá’u’lláh is heard by the Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations who grant ownership to the Bahá’ís, however the government of Iraq does not return the property.[6]
- November: Susan Moody returns to Iran with Adelaide Sharp to serve as a female doctor in Tehran at the request of Shoghi Effendi.[7]
