‘Alá’
‘Alá’ is the nineteenth month of the Badi calendar. Its name translates to Loftiness.[1] The month of ‘Alá’ coincides with the annual Nineteen-day Fast, during which Bahá'ís from the ages of 15 to 70 abstain from food or drink from sunrise to sunset of each day.
