- 27 BE: Mírzá Mihdí dies after falling through a skylight in the barracks of ‘Akká. Although Bahá’u’lláh offers to save his life, he refuses, asking that his life be accepted as a sacrifice so that pilgrims may be allowed to attain the presence of Bahá’u’lláh.[1][2]
