The Crisis[edit]

The Crisis: A Record of the Darker Races started November 1910 published by the NAACP and edited by WED DuBois. From 1997 to 2003, it appeared as The New Crisis: The Magazine of Opportunities and Ideas, but the title has since reverted to The Crisis.

Google has a cache from April 1911 to Winter 2011.[1]

The Opportunity[edit]

The academic journal Opportunity: A Journal of Negro Life was produced by the Urban League as a successor to .. from 1923 to through 1949.

Google provides snippet searches of individual volumes for most of the series.[2] Note snippet searches will /not/ find every instance especially if there are three or more hits.

Some editions definitely mention the Bahá'í Faith. Some hits might be false hits. More hits are likely when searching for names of prominent African Americans who may or may not have been mentioned in light of the religion: Alain Locke, Louis Gregory, Robert Sengstacke Abbott, Elsie Austin…

The Messenger[edit]

The Messenger was published from 1917 to 1928. There are no archives of it available online?

The Negro/Black World/Digest[edit]

Founded by Marcus Garvey. Google has an archive from Nov 1961 to Apr 1976.[3] appears to have never mentioned the Baha'i Faith itself.

The Journal of Negro History[edit]

Google has issues from 1937 to 2000 but has previews (snippets) only up to 1960.[4] Some issues did mention the Baha'i Faith.

National Urban League Review[edit]

[The Urban League Review], Google cache from 1975 to 1993[5] Apparently it never mentions the Baha'i Faith itself.
