About my community
Forest Grove, Oregon - roughly 20 thousand soul-occupied bodies living within the city limits, of which 3 currently actively participate as Baha'is.

About my service in the community
I serve as faculty for the Wilmette Institute course Science, Religion and the Baha'i Faith and serve as TA for courses focused on anti-racism.
Our family hosts a weekly devotional (currently mostly virtual), in addition to Feasts, study circles, etc.
About my interests in the Faith
The topic of the harmony of science and religion - which I view as a deep and challenging issue that humankind has only just begun to come to grips with - interest me a very great deal.
I have been involved in the Institute process quite actively since 1996, but lately am increasingly turning my attention to scholarly work and participation in the discourses of society, particularly regarding anti-racist education and activism, dissipating dissention about science and public policy, and promoting the harmony of science and religion.
