User:Ernobe/TOCright2/doc

From Bahaipedia
< User:Ernobe | TOCright2
Jump to:navigation, search

Optional paramaters:
|width=
|height=
|font-size=
|border-width=
|border-color=
|limit=

Defaults:
|width=auto - can be % or px
|height= - use 500px for about 25 lines
|font-size=95% - can be px
|border-width=0px
|border-color=steelblue - can be # or name
|limit= - limit of headings to include

BUGS:

  • Changing height= does not affect surrounding elements as expected when "hide" is clicked.
  • Changing width= does not affect surrounding elements as expected (try px instead of %).

About:
Modification to {{TOCright}} taken from:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template_talk:TOC_right#Propose_adding_height_parameter
Reasoning behind it is:
"A height parameter could be added to this and similar TOCs that would mitigate/eliminate the need for the limit parameter. The advantage of this approach is that no TOC items are lost."
But obviously, the main advantage from our point of view is the font-size parameter absent from {{TOCright}} or {{TOC right}}
