The Half of it Was Never Told

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

The Half of it Was Never Told is a book by Carolyn Sparey Fox, and was published in 2015. It deals with the search for the fulfillment of Messianic expectation in the 1840s, and takes the reader through three lives, those of William Miller from New England, Joseph Wolff from Europe and Mullá Ḥusayn from Persia. Of the three people considered, only one finds his dream. The title is derived from a remark by William Miller, when he came to study the Bible for the first time. Remarking that there was far more in the Bible than the clergymen tend to use, he said: "The half of it is never told!"
