The Flute Player and the Lazy One

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

The family of Farhad and Bahram are carpet weavers. Farhad works hard while his brother Bahram is lazy. Farhad also plays the flute beautifully while Bahram cannot play at all. One day a group of people see Bahram lift a flute to his mouth and hear music like the song of the nightingale. But who is playing such a lovely tune?

A charming story for children set in the Middle East of long ago with numerous line drawings.
