Tarrant "Tarry" M. Mahony is a Bahá’í currently serving as a Continental Counselor for Asia.
Background[edit]
Mahony completed a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Languages and Literature and a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies from Stanford University. He then completed a Juris Doctor degree at Berkeley Law School and became a member of the State Bar of California in 1995.[1] He met Elika while studying at university who he married and they have two children.[2]
As of 1999 he had moved to China and was teaching in the Master of Laws program at Temple University in Beijing primarily teaching International Business Transactions, US Property Law, and Chinese Foreign Investment Law.[1] As of 2019 he had become Director of the Master of Laws program.[3]
