Purchase of the Hazíratu'l-Quds in Taiwan was one of the goals of the Nine Year Plan given to the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of North East Asia. The center was purchased in 1967 for US $9000. The National Spiritual Assembly of the United States gave $6,000, the rest coming from the North East Asia assembly and donations from the friends.
