Sultán ‘Abdu’l-‘Azíz
 Media

‘Abdu’l-‘Azíz was the Sultán of the Ottoman Empire at the time of Bahá’u’lláh's exile there. He was addressed by name in Bahá’u’lláh's Súriy-i-Mulúk, his tablets to the kings and rulers of the world, as recorded in the book Summons of the Lord of Hosts. The same book contains several other tablets that refer to him, including the Súriy-i-Ra'ís and Lawh-i-Ra'ís, both addressed to Ottoman Prime Minister ‘Alí Páshá, and the Lawh-i-Fu'ád, written after the death of Fu'ád Páshá, foreign minister of Ottoman Empire.
