Subḥána Rabbíya'l-A'lá

Subḥána Rabbíya'l-A'lá, provisionally translated as Praise to the Exalted Lord, is an Arabic Tablet revealed by Bahá'u'lláh. It has not yet been officially translated.

Adib Taherzadeh writes that in the Tablet Bahá'u'lláh uses symbolic language to convey the advent of the Day of God, and warns the believers of tests which will cause many to turn away from God. Taherzadeh writes that Bahá'u'lláh alludes to His Revelation using the concept of the Maid of Heaven personifying God appearing before Him, and states that as the Tablet uses allusive language meditation is required to understand its significance.

The Tablet was revealed in honor of Hájí Mírzá Músáy-i-Javáhirí, entitled the Harf-i-Baqá by Bahá'u'lláh. Taherzadeh suggests that it was revealed near the close of the Baghdad period around the same time as the Kitáb-i-Íqán.[1]
