From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

The Shaping Europe conferences were a series of Youth Conferences which took place simultaneously from July 20 to 25, 1994, in four places in Europe: Berlin in Germany, Bucharest in Romania, Saint Petersburg in Russia, and Wolverhampton in England. They were organized by the European Bahá'í Youth Council.

During the Saint Petersburg conference a group of Bahais from Lithuania, Belarus and Poland decided to start teaching project called Cross border teaching between three cities: Kaunas (Lithuania), Grodno (Belarus) and Bialystok (Poland). It lasted for several years engaging around 20 participants. One of the results was teaching trip to Kaliningrad region (Russia).
