Seremban was the first place in Malaysia to be opened to the Bahá’í Faith upon the declaration of Yankee Leong on December 19, 1953. The early Bahá’í community of Seremban carried out many teaching projects during the 1960's. Also during that time they were visited by Hand of the Cause Dr. Muhajir who urged the friends there to travel teach to other areas in Malaya. This call caused many to leave Seremban to pioneer.
Early Proclamation[edit]
It was reported that at one point not a day passed without traveling to estates to teach. "It was truly miraculous how these great souls could go on teaching without a day's rest" - A. Manisegaran, Jewel Among Nations.
