Sapling Publications is a small operation based on the Isle of Mull, off western Scotland. It specialises in books for children from Bahá’í families. Typically, a Sapling publication will involve one-colour printing, with a limp manila cover and stapling. Maggie Manvell, one of the principal guiding hands in this operation, was also involved in the Children's magazine "Dayspring" over a number of years, and the two initiatives operated side by side. Sapling's popular prayer book, "What Can I Say When?" has been developed by Warwick Bahá’í Bookshop and now appears under the title My Book of Prayers. The companion volume, My Book of Readings was also a planned Sapling initiative. In 2019, the decision has been taken to wind up Sapling.
