Samuel Zodéougan

Samuel Zodéougan is a Beninese Bahá'í who served as the country's first Auxiliary Board member for propagation.
He was a member of the royal family of Benin and had one hundred and four siblings. He was a soldier in his youth.
In April 1970 he became a Bahá'í while living in the village of Zodobomé in the province of Zou. A Local Spiritual Assembly was established in the village at Ridván 1970. After declaring he dedicated himself to travel teaching, opening several localities to the Faith.
In 1975 he was elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of Benin and he served on the body until 1978 when he was appointed as the countries first Auxiliary Board member for propagation, and second Auxiliary Board member overall.
