Rowshan Knox ( - 2016), formerly Rowshan Aftábí, was a pioneer in India and Knight of Bahá'u'lláh for Goa. Goa was a Portuguese territory on the west coast of India, and a goal of the Ten Year Crusade. It was opened by Roshan in 1954. Goa was taken over by India in 1960, and remains a Union Territory.
Rowshan came to the United Kingdom and pioneered first to Edinburgh (Scotland) and later to Winchester (the former capital of England). When (later) living in London, she was part of a team meeting people at the Ḥaẓíratu’l-Quds. At a summer school in Wales she met Dermod Knox, whom she married in 1962. During her last years, at their retirement bungalow in Honiton, Devon (England). She passed away in summer, 2016, leaving two sons.
