Mazibuko was born and raised in Port Elizabeth. He began a Bachelor of Science in Port Elizabeth which he completed in the United States majoring in Information Technology.[1] He then returned to South Africa where he established a career as an Information Technologist and Pharmaceutical Production Technician.[2]

He was elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of South and West Africa in 1975 and served until 1985,[3][4] representing the Assembly at an International Convention during his service.[2] He has also made several contributions to Bahá’í literature including translating the Kitab-i-Iqan into Xhosa from 1972 to 1979 and writing several books on the religion. He also translated the Hidden Words and several other documents into Xhosa.[4][3]
