Ridván message
From Bahaipedia
The Ridván Message is an annual message issued by the Universal House of Justice for the international Bahá’í community. Its purpose is to direct the communities attention towards important issues, major development plans, and areas for study. The message is written in English, for subsequent translation into other languages.
Prior to the establishment of the House Shoghi Effendi, Guardian of the Bahá’í Faith, would issue Ridván messages, beginning as early as 1923 with a letter of encouragement to the American National Convention held at Ridván. Some National Spiritual Assemblies will issue a Ridván message addressing their nations Bahá’í community.[1]
