Richard St. Barbe Baker

Richard St. Barbe Baker (October 9, 1889 - June 9, 1982)[1][2] was an environmental campaigner, particularly noted for his work on planting trees. He was a prolific author, and founded an organisation known as "Men Of The Trees". He was involved in direct action on tree planting in Africa.[3] He was one of the more well-known Bahá’ís in the British Empire in the 1920s and 1930s.
