Dr. Pejman Samoori is a Bahá’í currently serving as a Continental Counselor for the Americas residing in Brazil.
Background[edit]
Samoori began his higher education in Brazil undertaking a degree in Data Processing at the Universidade Católica de Brasília. He then completed a degree in Systems Engineering at the Bahá’í university Universidad Nur in Bolivia before returning to Brazil where he completed a masters degree in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Amazonas and his PhD in Education at the University of Brasilia.[1]
In his professional career Samoori began working as an Education specialist at university level in Brazil.[2] In addition to his professional career he has also been an active member of the Bahá’í community and in 2010 he was appointed to the Continental Board of Counselors for the Americas for a five year term and he was reappointed for additional terms in 2015 and 2020.[3]
