Nusrat Ghufrání Yaldá’í (1937 - June 18, 1983) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Yaldá’í was born into a Bahá’í family in Nayriz in 1937. She completed elementary school and later married in 1952. She settled in Shiraz at some point where she was elected to the Local Spiritual Assembly.[1]
On October 23, 1982, Yaldá’í was arrested alongside her husband and son, Bahrám. Her husband was released after a short time but she and Bahrám remained imprisoned and experienced torture. Her son was executed by hanging on June 16, 1983, and she was executed by hanging alongside nine fellow Bahá’í women on June 18.[1]
