The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahamas was established at the first National Convention of the Bahamas in 1978.[2] Members were elected from the islands of Andros, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama and New Province.[3]
William Sears, Glenford Mitchell and Lloyd Gardner attended the Convention representing the Universal House of Justice, the NSA of the United States and the Continental Board of Counsellors respectively.[4]
