Muhammad Mansúrí

Muhammad Mansúrí (November, 1929 - July 9, 1982) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Mansúrí was born into a Muslim family in Khalkhal, Iran, in 1929 and was orphaned at an early age. In his professional career he studied at a military college in Tehran and became an army officer.[1]
Mansúrí became a Bahá’í in 1950 then married in 1955 going on to have two sons and a daughter with his wife. His wife passed in a car accident and he remarried in 1959 and had three more children. In 1973 he moved to Qazvin and he retired in 1975.[1]
On April 8, 1982, Mansúrí's home was raided by Revolutionary Guards and he was imprisoned and tortured. On July 9, 1982, he was executed.[1]
