Manúchihr Khádí‘í (September 12, 1924 - July 29, 1981) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.

Biography[edit]

Khádí‘í was born into a Bahá’í family in Qazvin in 1924. He was raised in Qazvin then lived in several cities across Iran working in various jobs from the 1930's into the 1940's. He worked as an English translator in Takestan for a time and from 1944 worked for a Petroleum Company in Abadan. He later worked in several positions across Khuzestan Province.[1]

After retiring Khádí‘í settled in Tabriz where he was elected to the Local Spiritual Assembly in 1979. He was arrested on April 22, 1980, at a Bahá’í meeting with youth and school teachers and executed by firing squad on July 29, 1981, alongside eight fellow Bahá’ís. His body was not returned to his family and is presumed to have been buried by the authorities.[1]
