Mírzá Muhammad-Husayn

Mírzá Muhammad-Husayn was the maternal grandfather of the Báb.

Muhammad-Husayn was a son of Mírzá ‘Abid. In his career he was a merchant in Shiraz.[1] His children were Fatimih Bagum, the mother of the Báb, Hájí Mírzá Siyyid Muhammad better known by the title Khál Akbar, Hájí Mírzá Siyyid 'Alí better known by the title Khál A’zam, and Hájí Mírzá Hasan-'Alí better known by the title Khál Asghar.[2]
